TLDR – Maddex and Drove to Laytown for some One Piece
One Piece
Maddex has been into One Piece Manga in the past few months. We’ve been buying the books in 3 packs for about 16e each. The boy is into reading. We are going to buy more books regardless of price – Looking at Adverts, I found three 23 packs for a bit more than the price of one 23 pack. Thursday, Maddex and I left the house around 0900 for an hour’s drive north up the M roads to Laytown. We chatted a bit on the drive up, as much as you can get out of a 13-year-old boy, before switching to Audible, listening to Hounded, book one of the Iron Druid series. Maddex listens to books on Cleaning Day, Sunday and started the Iron Druid series a few weeks back.
Apple Maps took us directly to Harvey’s house. After a meet and book check, we paid via Revolut and loaded the books into the van. The books look brand new still. Harvey is not a book bender. These are well cared for books. We collected box sets 1, 3, and 4. We’ll need to find Box 3 when maddex gets there; he should have a few months, as he is only on book 13 currently. Following the book collection, we had a quick walk on the beach and stopped at Aldi for snacks before driving home. Maddex read a bit on the drive home before we went back to Audible.
